It’s a new day at Prabhat! / Churning a new strategy for sweet success.

Prabhat is a company with a dynamic new vision. Primarily a dairy brand with a product range that includes milk, lassi, dahi, chhaas, ghee, etc., Prabhat also produces a fruit-based beverage (in Mango and Apple flavours) under their division called ‘Sunfresh Agro’.
Prabhat has ambitious growth plans. They intend to expand their product offerings to include sweets, edible oil, savouries etc. while implementing innovations in milk packaging for longer shelf life. The objective? To grow into a Rs.600 crore company by 2012!
As a first step, Prabhat approached Xebec to re-brand the company so as to represent the new drive and direction; to design a vibrant visual identity that will portray the modern, forward-looking image that Prabhat seeks to present to the world.
Xebec spent a lot of time and energy understanding the vision of the company, their products and processes, their distribution network and consumers – both current and intended.
The result was a new identity for the mother brand ‘Prabhat’. Not radically different because we wanted to retain the connect with the recall and equity earned till date – but adapted and embellished with new colours, fonts and imagery to make it contemporary, eye-catching and alive.
Xebec also suggested Prabhat create separate sub-brands for marketing their various dairy products and variants under the names Gold, Taaza and Slim. Packaging was designed for these sub-brands too and overall, the strategies and designs have been well appreciated by the client.
In fact, the trade is extremely upbeat about the new initiatives and claims the products are moving off the shelf faster than ever before!
As Prabhat plans a phase-wise roll out of other products in the future, Xebec looks forward to partnering in the process.
